Refund Policy

1. Summary
- Full refund on request within 14 days of any payment, first purchase or renewal. No reason needed.
- Cancel anytime from the billing portal. You won't be charged again, and your key works until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, back to your original payment method.
2. Who processes refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payments, invoices and returns. Approved refunds are paid by Paddle to the payment method you used, together with any tax that was charged. Paddle's Buyer Terms and refund policy also apply to your purchase.
3. 14-day refunds
If TryDocify isn't right for you, you can ask for a full refund of any subscription payment within 14 days of the date it was charged. This applies to your first payment and to each monthly renewal. You don't have to give a reason.
While you evaluate the Service, you can use test mode ("test": true), which is free on every plan and doesn't use credits.
4. How to request a refund
Either of these works:
- Email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout. Include the order number from your Paddle receipt if you have it.
- Contact Paddle directly at paddle.net, where you can look up your order with the email address you used.
We aim to respond within two business days. Once a refund is approved, Paddle normally pays it within 14 days; your bank may take a few more days to show it.
5. What happens after a refund
A refunded subscription is cancelled, and its API key stops generating documents. If you want to keep using TryDocify, cancel or change your plan in the billing portal instead of asking for a refund.
6. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal (POST /api/v1/billing/portal, see the docs) or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your key keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling on its own does not refund the current period; ask for a refund within 14 days if you want one.
7. After 14 days
After 14 days from a payment we don't refund that payment, including for unused credits or a partial month, except where the law requires it. We will always correct billing mistakes, such as a duplicate charge, and may offer a refund or credit at our discretion in other cases, for example after a significant outage.
8. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the law that applies to you. If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us or Paddle before opening a dispute with your bank, so we can fix it quickly.
